New National Sales Manager

W.Howard welcomes new National Sales Manager

Jake Cintra has been named as the new National Sales Manager for W. Howard Group, focusing on the company’s Polyco veneer and foil-wrapped product range. As part of his new role, Jake will also be responsible for the Western region of W.Howard’s white primed MDF business.

The role has been created to increase W.Howard’s presence in the wrapped MDF sector, as well as in response to the company’s continued growth over recent years.

Jake joined the business on 11 June and has significant experience working within the wrapped profile sector. Before joining W.Howard he spent seven years working for Wales-based manufacturer Morland, where he worked closely with product end-users, especially in the high-end residential market where dyed veneer wrapped frames and skirting are increasingly being specified.

“I’m really looking forward to being able to bring my own knowledge to W.Howard to help them grow and develop their offering in the veneer and foil-wrapped product sectors,” he said. “I am also excited to learn more about the builders’ merchant market and to meet all of W.Howard’s distribution customers.”

Simon Fleet, Group Commercial Director at W.Howard, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jake to this new role of National Sales Manager at W.Howard. His experience will stand us in good stead as we continue to increase our presence in the wrapped MDF sector.”W.Howard Group is the leading UK supplier of quality MDF, real wood veneered and foil-wrapped MDF profiles under the Polyco brand. Its product range includes skirtings, architraves, window boards and door linings, as well as the exclusive, impact-resistant KOTA range.
